This meal is packed in a BSFSR souvenir insulated lunch bag and includes half turkey and half ham sandwich, slaw, apple sauce, dessert and drink to enjoy during the layover at Blue Heron. Coal Miner's Lunch offer good for advance reservations by phone only, April through October.

The Coal Bucket Concession at Blue Heron Mining Camp is available for individual food purchase for those who do not wish to purchase an advance lunch option, April through October.

The Whistle Stop Cafe at the Depot in Stearns is now serving quick breakfast and lunch items on the days the railway operates.  Stop in for a hot cup of coffee and homemade buttermilk biscuits before riding the train!
